Is it possible to save a PowerPoint Slideshow in a format on DVD that will
play back in a DVD player on the television. Please respond if you know the
answer. Thanks!

It is possible but you will need additional software.

Dancer,

All you need to do is save your presentation in JPEGs (all slides) and use a
DVD burning software to create your DVD as if your slides were pictures.

Hope this helps.

To convert a powerpoint slideshow to mpeg format so that the
presentation will play like a movie , you should need a conversion tool
like PPT2DVD  at
http://www.ppt-to-dvd.com

When converted to a video file, you can burn it to a dvd with a burning
program. Usually, this dvd can be played on home dvd players.
