I'm trying to animate text to scroll from right to left in a loop. I have
several phrases that I want to follow one another in the loop. Can anyone
help?

Roxanne,
You can do that with PowerPoint 2002/2003.
Create a textbox and type the ticker text.
Drag the textbox out of the slide in the grey area at the left of the slide.
In the Custom Animation task pane choose - Add effect - Entrance - Crawl In
of Fly In - from right.
Adjust the speed to your preference.
Double click the effect, select Timing tab, choose Until End of Slide in the
repeat dropdown field.
If you want you can have several boxes, if so set a delay timing that is
suitable in the timing tab and apply a with previous.

Hi Luc,  Did what you said on 1st part.  Worked ok.  2nd however is not
working correctly.  I made three boxes set timing to delay 10 sec on each (I
progreassed up a second trying to get a seperation) 2nd two to go after
previous and all till click ends show.  1st txt box goes two times then the
rest are in a race to over take box 1.  Could you expound a little on this
statement "if so set a delay timing that is suitable in the timing tab and
apply a with previous."
Thank you

KingsKid43,
You are right, I tested it with two boxes and it did seem to work providing
the delay between the two was not too large. Maybe you will need to put the
text in one box, if that is possible.

Try having two identical copies of a phrase (each about a screen width) give
one an exit fly out (to left) and the other a with previous fly in from
right. Then superimpose them

Did that answer the question / help?
