Does anyone know how to create new shapes in Powerpoint?
I'm particularly interested in creating shapes with "adjustement handle(s)"

Thanks in advance

Pedro,

I belive the shapes are 'hard coded' meaning you cannot change them or
create new ones.

Hi Simmons,

if that is correct how do you explain that one can import more autoshapes
into powerpoint (on the autoshapes menu, select "more autoshapes..." and
there you'll find some with "adjustement handle")?

What TAJ said. Instead, you might want to use freeform tool to draw out a new
shape instead.

Hello PBorralho

One techniques that SuperPresentationMan uses is to create the shape in a
drawing program and export a Windows Metafile (WMF). When you import the WMF
you will be able to stretch the graphic using the adjustment handles. Also,
if you want to adjust the color, outline, etc. in PowerPoint you can ungroup
the graphic which will let you make the adjustments to the individual
elements.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me directly.

There are some old examples in VC++ which illustrate how to create shapes
with adjustments using one of the drawing components of Office. Let me see
if I can locate it, it was available on MSDN several years ago.
