Hi All,

Is there a way to add a scrolling text "Text Box" in powerpoint? I'd like to
have a fixed sized text box with varying amounts of text (different for each
slide) that continually scrolls for as long as the slide is showing.

Any assistance greatly appreciated.

Scott,
You can do that with PowerPoint 2002/2003.
Create a textbox and type the text.
Drag the textbox out of the slide in the grey area at the top/bottom of the
slide depending on the direction you want to give to the scrolling.
In the Custom Animation task pane choose - Add effect - Entrance - Crawl In
or Fly In - from bottom/top.
Set it with previous, ddjust the speed to your preference.
Double click the effect, select Timing tab, choose Until End of Slide in the
repeat dropdown field.
