Hi there,
Can anyone tell me what kind of .avi or .mpeg format I should use to present
a short movie during PP presentation - not to use external programs. Simply
said (step by step):
Insert (paste*) in main menu -> Films (movies*) and sounds -> Film (movie)
form the file*-> and I choose the file -> ...
The required movie does not want to start during presentation. Only first
frame is available. Sometimes, using different files, I can hear the sound,
but that's all.
Any help?
Thanks.

Akcent,
PowerPoint uses the MCI-player to play video. First test and see if it plays
there.
Start - Run -type mplay32 - enter - file open .... if it plays fine go and
have a look here. Make sure you do not miss the first two links on top of
that page:
