I am running a 3-slide slideshow and have links that connect to Excel.

When I open PowerPoint, it does ask me if I want to update the links.
Of course, I select yes and can see the information updating both in
Excel and PowerPoint.

Next, I start the slide presentation to cycle through the 3 slides
every 20 seconds. When this occurs, Excel appears to continue updating
but the Slideshow doesn't.

When we stop the slideshow and restart PowerPoint, the updates continue
through both applications.

Question:  How can I get the updates to continue as the Slideshow
continues?

AFIK this can't be done without programming. Have a look at the Add-In
Datapoint: http://www.presentationpoint.com/

Best regards,
