loop slides

I prepare slides for our worship service and would like to set things up so
that we have a "looping" of announcments start with the second slide as
people make their way into the auditorium.  We would then want to move out of
this loop when we are ready to start the service.  I see information on how
to set up such a loop to start a show.  I have tried information provided
through PPTs help (we have Powerpoint 2003) and can't get it to work the way
we would want it too.

It seems like you would want to set up a Custom Show, but it's hard to help
you if you don't tell us what you have tried. Have you looked at:
