Powerpoint need help with sound

I am making my first Power Point presentation.  What are the steps to add
sound to a single side and not the entire presentation?  If anyone could help
me I would appreciate it.  Thank you!

Insert sound to a slide

PowerPoint -> Insert (Menu) -> Movies and sounds -> ...

Insert sound as transiton

PowerPonit -> Slide Show -> Slide Transtion -> Modify Transition (Right
Panel) -> Sound -> Other Sound
