Video clips in PP presentation

I use a laptop in presentation view through a projector to present lectures.
I also have Powershow running.
I cannot embed video movie clips as part of the presentation. These clips
have an .mov suffix.  Can anyone help, please

First you cannot EMBED any movie in powerpoint only link to it. I guess
that's what you mean though.

.mov files are an Apple format and not supported in windows versions. You
may be able to use Insert > object > create from file to add a quicktime
object or convert the file to wmv or avi in quicktime pro and use insert >
movies & sounds
