Enter the first line in the Chart Options dialog. Then on the chart itself,
click within the label, curse to the end, press Enter or Shift + Enter and
type in the second line. This works for the axes labels and the chart
title, as well as the Data Series labels. (PowerPoint 2000 & 2002)

> How do you insert a manual line break in an axis name or label?

Thank you TAJ Simmons. I am creating a bar chart and entering the label for
each bar into the first row of the datasheet. I don't see a way of accessing
this in the Chart Options dialog or a way to click within the label. Maybe I
am using the wrong term - but I do not mean the title for the axis, but
rather the name of each bar). Extra
