I have a powerpoint presentation which uses Title Master and Slide master
pair. I want to apply the 2 master designs to selected slides in the
presentation. However the "Apply Design" task pane shows only the slide
master design. How can I get the title master design to be shown under the
design templates so that I can apply the same to selected slides?
I am able to apply only the slide master design to all or selected slides by
choosing the slide master design. I would like to be able to apply the Title
master design to selected slides but as it is not shown under the design
templates I am unable to do so. Please help!

To apply the title master, you have to set the slide to the title slide layout.
To do so, click Format > Slide Layout.
Under Text Layout, select the Title Slide Layout icon.

Thanks for your reply. How can I get the title master design to be shown
under the design templates?

You can't, unless it is a slide master design.

As Shawn says, you can't.  Only Slide masters, not Title masters, appear in the
listing of templates and layouts.

You could force the issue by adding a new SLIDE master and modifying it so that it
looks like you want your titles to appear.

The drawback is that you'd have to select and apply it whenever you create a title
slide.  PowerPoint will not apply it automatically for you.
