Fellow PowerPoint Users,

Can someone please walk me through (step-by-step) the process of adding
sound to a single slide... instead of adding a sound that will play over the
length of the entire slide show???

Thanks, in advance, for all of your help!

Insert > Movies and Sounds > Sound From File.
Browse for sound you want to insert, click insert.
Select Automatically when prompted.

It's considered courteous to make a slight attempt to help oneself before
posting questions in newsgroups.  The reason for newsgroups is that everyone
has access to previously answered questions.  The same questions needn't be
answered over and over.

As it happens, there's been a run on *precisely* this question.  It's been
asked and answered at least ten times in the last few days.  Read back over the
last few messages, or use a search feature to look for the answer and you'll
find it.

Yes, I could have pointed you directly at an answer or answered the question
myself, but then you'd be back for another fish the next time you get hungry.
This way, you may learn to bait the hook and catch your own lunch.
