Powerpoint 2003
I have a ppt in which a linked midi sequence starts on the first slide and
then continues until the last slide.
I  packaged for CD and it worked fine.
When I copied back both the ppt and the midi file to the computer to make
changes, the midi sequence does not start.

Did you put the midi and the presentation in the same folder before you
inserted the sound? You have probably changed the path to the file if not.
Midi file can only be linked (unless you know how to convert them to a
headered mp3)
