how do i build click by click in a slide?

i would like to build a diagram circle by circle per my click.  (or bullet by
bullet per my click for each bullet.  how do i do this?

Debbie,
For the diagram part, select the diagram, in the custom animation taskpane
apply an entrance effect, for instance appear.
Double click on the entry, choose diagram animation tab, in the group by
list choose by category. Be aware that it all depends on the effect you
apply to the diagram, some will give you several possiblities others just
one (as a whole).
