I am looking for a laptop wireless laser presenter that can be used to
control both PowerPoint presentations and DVD's. For the DVD I need
at least start, stop and pause. Would be nice to be able to fast
forward and reverse too.
There are a zillion presenters on the market for PowerPoint. Very few
that can handle multi-media tasks like operating a DVD. Can anyone
recommend a good presenter that is under $75. I spent the morning
reading descriptions of various presenters, but they don't give you a
whole lot of information beyond use with PowerPoint.
I have looked at the HiRO H50112 which has a case that stores inside a
PCMCIA slot. Neat feature, but most stores are out of them now. Don't
know if it is being discontinued. No mouse function.
I also looked at the HiRO H50111 which is a more conventional shape
and has the added mouse function, but the only multi-media it can
control is Windows Media Player.
Anyone used one of these two or something else that works well?

I don't use hardware tools for presentation.
I use software to convert my PowerPoint file to DVD and play it with my DVD
and a TV.
It is very easy. I'd like to suggest it to you .
