When I load PowerPoint while Outlook is open, the slide layout and design template window (on the right of the screen) come up blank. When I move my mouse over there, the outline of each box/choice can be seen, but the actual picture is not there. Note that this works fine if Outlook is not open. I have tried re-installing Office but this did not fix anything. How do I fix this? It later turned out that the problem wasn't Word, it was a Word add-in that got loaded at the same time as Word whenever Outlook started up. It was an add-in for footnotes/end notes as I recall, but others may cause the same problem.
