copying a sound from a pp presentation to a file?

How do I extract a sound file from a powerpoint presentation and save it to
an individual file.

If you save as > a web page (html ) then you will get an html file AND a
folder of dependant files. The sound file will be in that folder

Save the presentation as a web page (html). this procedure will extract all
embedded sound files and put them into a folder.
