I have prepared a slide show, with music attached, but when I email it as an
attachment, the music won't play? What do I do? Do I need to send the
actual music clip with the slideshow?

The only music that gets embedded are wav files (depending on size) all
others are linked and must accompany the presentation. If you going to send
music along with your presentation it is a good idea to put the music file
into the same folder as the presentation before you insert it into the
presentation. This will help maintain the link once the files are emailed.
You may want to have a look here at an alternative.
