How can I have the format autoshape dialogue box go back to dispalying the
width and height of the autoshape I've selected? It used to display; now it
won't.

thanks for ideas.

The standard settings are the same for autoshapes and textboxes. If you set
a textbox to "Adjust size to text" and applied that as standard, autoshapes
will behave the same. They will shrink or grow as soon as you enter text.
Thus they don't have a fixed size and that's why no size shows up for width
and height. Type one letter or word into an autoshape, go to the Format
AutoShape dialog box and uncheck the "Adjust ..." checkbox. Save as
Standard.

Best regards,
Ute

Thanks Ute..I didn't realize that text boxes and autoshapes had this
relationship. Your suggestions worked perfectly. THANKS!
