I would like to know how to animate objects to move across the slide but not
fly in or out of the screen. For example I have a map of the country that
fills the whole screen that I would like to move across the screen to then
show only half of the country and to then have text appear next to the map.
Is there a way to move an object along a path. This is on a Mac version of
PowerPoint 2003.

In all PC versions since PPT 2002, there is a type of animations called
"motion paths". Unfortunately, that feature isn't implemented in PPT for the
Mac.

I believe life is meant to be lived. But:
if we live without making a difference, it makes no difference that we lived
