I have installed ppt 2007  but failed to see the preloaded sound media
files that enhance animations like whoosh, typewriter, applause etc.  i
do not have them installed by default and when i pull down that menu
there are no sounds available for use (preinstalled).  Any particular
way to get them in this list sotht i may enhance my animations??

Hm. I wonder if these are considered part of clip art? Regardless, I'm
betting they're part of something you opted not to install. Try going to
Control Panel | Add-Remove Programs, and click Change Office 2007. Do a
custom install so you can go in and choose the various items to run from
computer.
