I would like to use Powerpoint through a projector and 'brain-storm' a group
for ideas which are immediatleyy visible on the screen. Is this possible
preferably via the 2nd montior display?

PowerPoint would be a very poor choice for something like this.  It's
intended to be used to make and display presentations.  You might want to
consider using something like Messenger and it's "white boarding" features.

I accept PP may not be the best, I don't need anything fancy.
My situation is where I ask the audience a questionin the middle of a talk -
using PP and would like to write the answers /  comments up on an existing
slide so others can see and remember what has already been said. It's not so
much aimed at 'business' situations, in fact I am talking about church! or a
bible study group...

Will PP allow me to do this - even poorly?
If I use Messenger I will then run into other problems with existing s/w
used during the service.

Chris

If you are quite happy typing things in (text boxes etc) 'live' then I can't
see why powerpoint would not fit this project.

The key point here being that in slide show view it wouldn't work, but if
you're just showing the normal PPT view, and don't mind the other participants
seeing that, it'd be just fine.
