I work for a small business and want to ensure that all employees are viewing
a ppt show.  Is there a way to create a log that would show the date, time
and person's name after it is viewed?

One idea is to convert to an html or Flash presentation, then put on the
company server (intranet) with a log-in which you can generate a report that
shows all people that accessed.

Hi Christy

You could write a vba routine to save the users names and auto log the time
in PowerPoint to a file.
If this is beyond your skills feel free to email me and I'll send a demo.

John,
This is beyond my skills.  Apparently, so is finding your email...
Can you email me the demo at christy_schoenwald@yahoo.com.
Thanks for your help.

Christy,

It really depends how important this is.  If it is important I would NOT use
VBA for it.  Instead a small app to gather/record the information and then
call the viewer would be my preferred solution.

Austin,
How would I go about doing that?  Although it's not drastically important,
it will help me ensure things are being done more accurately and efficiently.
