Hi,

I have a PowerPoint presentation with a map image (in jpeg format),
which has many colors and if I open it on my desktop, it takes too
long to load. Also, if I try to format the image( resize/crop), it
tries to reload the image, which takes forever.

I don't face this problem, when I open the same presentation on my
laptop. I would appreciate any help.

Thanks-

Roop

When you say "tries to reload" do you mean the screen keeps refreshing (image
flashing)?

If so try this:
Right click the desktop (not in PPT) and properties>settings> advanced >
troubleshoot (not the first "troubleshoot" you see!)

Slide the slider for hardware acceleration back left and try again
If this works slide it right a little at a time and also look for updated
video card drivers.
