Hello,

I am creating a presentation that uses different presentations from
different files. Well I am trying to link only certain specific slides from
one of the presentations to automatically update, kinda like if you used the
"insert; slides from file; browse; presentation.ppt; now select one or two
slide out of five" but now try and get those slides you selected to update
automatically every time you open the main presentation.

I just can't figure it out, any help that you may have to offer would be
greatly appriciated. Thanks.

Gabe,

You can hyperlink to any specific slide in another prsentation, continue for
as many slides as you want and press Esc to return to the current slide in
the original presentation. The hyperlink will pick up the most current
version of the presentation (if that's what you meant by updating).

Select an object and choose Insert > Hyperlink. In the Insert Hyperlink
dialog box, choose Existing File or Web Page and navigate to the
presentation. Then click the Bookmark button and you'll be able to choose a
specific slide (it helps if they have titles).

Let us know if this is what you need.

When I first open the the main presentation, there's a message that comes up
that says "this presentation contains links to other files.... Update Links,
Cancel, Help." So when I click on the button Update Links, the certain slides
that I selected that are embedded in my slide show already, will be updated
when I push that button.

Let me know if this helps, Thanks.
