Several slides in a large presentation have managed to get the slide title
font-size changed.

Is there a single global way to force all slide titles to follow the slide
master?

SC,

You can select the slides on the slide sorter and choose "slide layout"

then choose the layout that it should be 'e.g. title and a bullet list'

then choose "re-apply" layout

After doing this, you may find that the titles on your slides are not in the
placeholder. If that's the case you need to copy and paste the actual text
into the placeholder.

You might want to go to the Tiutorials, hints pages on PPT Alchemy and look
up "Hands Off My Master"
