Convert the PowerPoint presentation to video files
Use Wondershare PPT2DVD convert it to mpeg file.
then use another video convert tool to convert the mpeg file to mp4 format

see
http://www.apple.com/quicktime/tutorials/creatingvideo.html

there is a program called super that can convert most video / movie formats
to ipod compatible video

to grab a 'video' from a presentation something like camtasia from
'techsmith' will do the job
