Hi,
I have installed microsoft office 2007 and i am working with powerpoint.
When i create a pps it works fine when i open it directly fron the file
itself but when i create a link on the web page it opens powerpoint itself
instead of the pps, it works fine with office 2003.
Anyone has the fix for this or is it a bug in powerpoint itself.
My e-mail is char_cc@hotmail.com, if anyone can help me fix this.
Thanks

This explains some of the oddities of opening PowerPoint files in the browser,
but doesn't cover 2007 yet:

Control how the browser opens PowerPoint files

I think that what you're seeing may be a design change rather than a bug
(though of course if it's biting your ankles it FEELS like a bug either way).

This is a forum/newsgroup; people will reply here but generally not by email.
Posting your email WILL guarantee you lots of unwanted email from spammers,
though.  Best to avoid doing that.
