How to extract PPT slide pictures?

Can you take slide pictures and save them for a screen saver or just save
them individually for emails etc.? WXP PRO. SP2 Office 97.

Click File > Save As.
Under save as type, click on the dropdown and select webpage (*.html or
*.htm).
Look into the output folder and you should be able to see all the pictures.

What tohlz said, also -- if you only have a single slide (or only a few
slides) to save as a picture, you can right click on the picture then select
Save Picture As.

I don't think that option was available in Office 97
