What was the logic of dropping the recod functionn ti Powerpoint 2007
and is there a third party addon to replace it?
TAJ Simmons - 08 Apr 2007 12:22 GMT
I believe the record function is still in powerpoint 2007

ppt 2003
slideshow menu > record narration

ppt 2007
slide show (group) > set up > record narration

or movies and sounds > record sound (ppt2003)
becomes
insert (group) > media clips > sound > record sound (ppt2007)

cheers

The macro recorder's gone from 2007.

If left in, it probably wouldn't have been able to record any of the newly
added features, but if the old one, as is, with all its limitations, would be
of use, submit it as a suggestion to MS (you need to use the web view of this
group for that)
