My wife's laptop has Windows 2000 so I cannot upgrade from version 9. How
can I change the playback order of some WAV files?
If anyone has PowerPoint experience what she is doing is she has a
PowerPoint presentation created and wants to play the same song over and
over, with a break in the middle with a different song. The repeating file
has a playback of 2 min 38 secs so to play another song in the middle of the
PowerPoint presentation she has to set the timing of the slides to end at 5
min 16 secs.
What I did for the repeating WAV file was copy the repeating wav file 4
times in the same folder.
Does this make sense?
Anyway, back to my original question...how do I change the playback order in
MP 9?
Thanks!

Eddie,
If the files are in a playlist, you should be able to just drag and drop
them into the order you desire for playback.
If you want to play a specific file a number of times, all you do is add the
same file to the playlist however many times you want it there, no need for
multiple copies of the same file.

If file size isn't an issue, the simplest thing might be to use an audio editor
to combine the songs in any order you like into a single WAV or MPG file.
Audacity is quite capable of this kind of thing and the price is most right:
US$zip.
Google Audacity for a link
