I am having a lot of trouble trying to change the object colour with gradient
in the latest version of Powerpoint.  It was quite simple in the earlier
versions and I am unsure how to continue with this task.  Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Have a look at Echo's Gradients Tutorial:
http://www.echosvoice.com/gradients.htm . She explains it very well.

Best regards,
Ute
