Hello,

If I have a picture saved, how can I make it the background for my
powerpoint presentations so that the words show on top of the picture?

To make a picture as a background, click Format > Background.
Click on the dropdown, select Fill Effects.
Click on the picture tab, click Select Picture.
Browse for the picture you want to insert, then click Ok twice.
Click Apply to all so that all your slides will have the background applied.
