I used to have PP 2003 and set the default font as Arial. Now that I have PP
2007 I want to sent the default font as Calibri. No matter what I try, every
time I click on insertint a text bos, the font is Arial.
Can someone tell me just exactly how I go about setting a new default?
Thanks.
Keith
Format a textbox as you want it, then right-click and choose "set default."
I think it actually says "set default textbox" or something similar in PPT
2007.

Afraid not. I tried inserting a text box and formatting it in both the
regular slide and the slide master. But there's no such selection on
right-clicking in either case. :-(

I just found that if I insert a text box, type in it, set the font to what I
want, THEN MOVE THE CURSOR IN THE TEXT BOX SO THAT IT BECOMES A 'MOVE' ICON,
a right-click will then show a "set as default text box".
Finally it all works now.
Thanks.

Glad you found it. Sorry I wasn't more specific about making sure to select
the *text box* and not just the text itself. Thanks for letting us know what
worked for you!
