Does Quicktime Pro operate in the Windows platform?  Possibly a dorky
question, but hope you'll be forgiving :)

quicktime movies need to be converted to play in powerpoint.

If you have quicktime pro you can export as an avi file. Quicktime pro is
about $30 from apple If its just one file and not too long I could try to

Not a dorky question at all, considering that it is an Apple product.
However, Steve Jobs has as much ambition to take over the world as Bill
Gates, so many Apple products have Windows versions. See:
