Where has 'Blank.pot' gone?

Hi,

In PPt version 97 there was a Blank.pot that one could use to change the
default for blank presentations. It was used e.g. by the [New Presentation]
button.
I checked installations of 2000, 2002 and 2003 but couldn't find this
template.
Questions:
- didn't I search correct (inclusive hidden files and system folders)
- if I am wrong, where to look for it
- if not, how to change the defaults for any new blank presentation
