I would like to link a Word document to a Powerpoint presentation we are
cutting on CD and giving to clients. Can I do this ?

Riebie,
If you use Package for cd from the File menu there should be no problem. The
linked documents are included in the process.

Yes.  Luc's explained how you can make sure the link stays good when you make a
CD.

You also need to be sure that the client is able to read Word docs, or the link
won't work.  Generally, if they don't have Word, Windows will try to open DOC
files in WordPad, so as long as the formatting is relatively simple, you should
be in good shape.

You may want to open the DOC in WordPad just to be sure (Start, Programs,
Accessories ...).  Or if you're sure the clients all have Office, ignore all
that. ;-)

If you need to know how to create the link in the first place, give us a shout
back.
