Is there a way to hide a slide only when printing?

I have a slide with animation that starts "off slide" so when the
presentation is printed, the page is blank.  I would like to keep the slide
for the presentation but hide it during printing.  Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Click File > Print to bring up the print dialog.
There should be a print range category.
Select Slides. Enter the slide numbers/range that you want to print.
For instance, you do not want to print slide 5 and you have a total of 50
slides.
So here's what you can do: type 1-4, 6-50. This will exclude slide 5 during
the printing.

In Addition to Shawn's per-print-solution, you could make a screenshot of
the animated slide and insert that on your slide. As the first animation use
Hide - with previous (this will only work in PowerPoint 2002 and newer).

Thanks.  I tried several different options, and the "per-print-solution"
won't work because I won't be printing the presentation myself.  I also tried
Bill Dilworth's recommendation to another user about saving the slide as a
separate presenation and adding it back in as an object.  Because it brings
you back to the end of the previous slide after the object has played, this
solution won't really work for me because it messes with the flow of the
animation on the next slide.

I just decided to recreate the animation on the slide so that the images are
on the slide with entrance animation from the beginning so now the slide
prints.

Thanks for the advice though.
