Does anyone have experience with 720p video being played through Power
Point?

Progressive scan video doesn't play well on a PC in general.  Is there a
reason you want to keep it in this format?

Man did I blow this one or what.  You said P and I was thinking interleaved.
(Long week...)  There is no real reason you can't use this video in
PowerPoint.
