Is there a limit to the sound file size that can be used with PowerPoint
2007? Whenever I insert a sound file that constants of just one spoken word
or two, it plays just fine in my slideshow. But when I added a 5MB sound
file, it will not play during the slideshow. Also, when I'm in edit mode, and
I click the "Play" button in the "Custom Animation" window, the progress bar
moves, but no sound comes out. All the sound files I use are .WAV files. Why
won't my larger sound file play?

The size of your sound file is limited to 50000kb Any wav file larger will
have to be linked, and have to accompany the presentation wherever you take
it.

there are 2 solutions for your reference
1.make sure that the WAV file and PowerPoint presentation in the same
folder.the insert the WAV into your PowerPoint.

2.insert the WAV file into Powerpoint, then double click the icon of
the soud file.next go to "Sound Option", change the max sound file
size to 5200KB or more in "Max Sound File Size"
