I left my PC on over night yesterday, with an open PPT file. This morning, I
have tried inserting some images, but they are no longer being resized to
fit the slide layout! The pictures just fill the whole screen when the slide
layout is Title + Object. I have restarted the PC to no avail. I dimly
recally this happening years ago but can't recall the fix. Help!
James.
Try Tools | Autocorrect...something about automatic slide layouts. (Sorry, I
don't have PPT 2002 or 2003 installed on this computer to check!)

Echo S....you're a genius!
You've just saved me the great hassle of reinstalling Office XP. No idea why
that rotten check-box un-checked itself for automatically applying the
layout to inserted objects, but I'll remember that in future.
Thanks again,
James
