Every time I close PowerPoint, I get the error message "Microsoft
Office PowerPoint has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We
are sorry for the inconvenience."  I am running Office Pro 2007 on a
Dell with Windows XP.  I have tried restore, uninstall and reinstall,
changing startup options, changing the resolution of my monitor and
nothing changes this.  Does anyone have an idea how to stop this
message from popping up?  Thanks

First, do a cold reboot of the machine.  (Turn it off for a couple minutes
and restart.)  If that doesn't do it, look and see what add-ins are loaded
in PowerPoint and disable them one at a time until you find the one causing
the issue.
