How do I send a Power Point 2007 presentation to run in email?

I do not see a pack and go feature for Power Point 2007, only the ability to
run with a CD or a kiosk mode. This is not helpful if one wants to email the
presentation.
Anyone know?

Save the presentation as a Slideshow (.pps), backward compatible with
earlier versions of PowerPoint, to accommodate your mail clients.

Thanks. I had just figured it out, mailed one to myself. It worked (then
your response came). But why do they not have one for people who are sending
to others who have 2007 professional that is just as easy? Can one do the
same even if not saving in compatibility mode? Also I noticed that even in
compatibility mode, when you use the icon to attach the file to and Outlook
email, it doesn't send, but hangs there. You have to open a new message and
then attach.

The only reason I suggested backward compatibility, is because not everyone
who you might mail it have PowerPoint 2007. For just 2007 use, just save it
as a PowerPoint Slideshow .ppsx

I advise that you don't send your PowerPoint 2007 files in *.pptx or
*.ppsx in email. Becoz maybe the receiver don't have PowerPoint 2007
viewer installed to open files in these formats.

Moreover, saving your PowerPoint 2007 files in such compatibility mode
might occur some other problems like loss of styles and wrong
position, etc if you used some special elements in PowerPoint 2007.

My solution for this is converting your PowerPoint to other formats
such as video files or Flash movies. Of course Flash movie is slimmer
and widely supported. As I know, only a few PowerPoint to Flash
conversion tools can support PowerPoint 2007. Wondershare PPT2Flash
(http://www.sameshow.com/powerpoint-to-flash.html) and FlashPoiint
(http://www.falshdemo.net) are the only two I know.
