I created a POT file for a client for both the PPT 2003 (PC) version
snd the PPT 2004 (Mac) version. When creating a new presentation on
the PC using the template, I can easily use the title and both the
text templates by simply selecting the slide I want to apply the
template to and using the Slide Design pane to apply it - I can see
the small icon representing the alternate template.

I cannot seem to find a way to do this on the Mac. I can see all three
templates in Master Slide view, but I cannot get the alternate text
template to apply to a selected slide and it is making me crazy!  I
need help ASAP as the client is trying to use the POT files on her Mac
to create a new presentation and can't get anything but the one title
template and one of the two text template designs to show up.

Hi

I don't use Macs much nowadays but I seem to remember that you could enable
multiple masters in edit > prefs > advanced?
