I have just created a PowerPoint Presentation which i intend on saving as a PowerPoint Show. I have added some simple macros to the presentation & I have changed my security settings, and the macros work fine. The problem i get is that when other people use the show the macro's do not work. As their could be up to 100 people using this show i don't want to have to tell them all to change they're security settings. Basically, is there some sort of code i could write so that the macros are enabled when they open up the show, and when they close the show their security settings go back to what they were before? If you could do that, then so could anyone else. Would you run a presentation from anyone else, knowing it could turn your security settings off then run code that might delete all the files on your hard drive, install viruses or ... pretty much anything? And even if you could do it w/o the user knowing, would you risk getting caught meddling with their security settings w/o telling them? You look like a sensible person. Of course you wouldn't. ;-) For presentations that others must run, your best bet is to avoid macros if at all possible.
