How do I imbed (not link) music in a power point presentation

The only music files that get embedded are .WAV files, and only to max size
of 50000kb all other music files are linked.

WAV files can be easily embedded in PowerPoint. But other formats only
can be linked. If you want to share your presentation with others with
music. You'd better package presentation with external audio files to
send, or choose other alternative way to solve.

In addition to TAJ's reply, you CAN embed non-wavs by folling powerpoint
into thinking they are wavs; see here:
