pptx file (ofice 07) not read by earlier versions

A powerpoint presentation created with the new Office 07 prof. is not
accesable with lower versions of powerpoint. 07 generates a .pptx instead of
.ppt

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Did you try Save As > Powerpoint 97 - 2003 presentation
