I have a WMV file that is 24M, it's a photo movie with sound I created and
would like to have play during my Power Point.

Every time I try and load it in the powerpoint it just frezzes the
powerpoint.  I know it's a large file, and yet I don't see where it says
anything about file being too big...

Thanks..

John thanks for the notes, and I have read those,,,and it doesn't seem to be
that...I have changed the name and have it stored on the C drive of my
computer....

Each time it trys to insert it just freezes up the computer...any other
thoughts???

Currently it's a WMV..file so I shouldn't have to convert it to another
format???

Thanks...

Dan,

You may have this figured out by now.

Go to Control Panel/Display/settings/advanced/troubleshoot/hardware
accelerator.

Move the button to the middle or even on to the left of that.

Hit apply.  Try to insert again.  Should work.

Do you have another system to try it on?

Dan, can I assume you made this with Movie Maker?  If so it may not be
compatible with the MCI player which PowerPoint uses.  As a suggestion, give
PFCPro a try, it should resolve the issue.  (It has a two week fully
functioning trial and should get you out of the woods at no cost.)
