In PowerPoint 2003, SP2, I can't find the 'Read only recommended' setting in
Tools/Options.  'Help' says it ought to be there, and I can find it in Excel,
but not in ppt.
Did they change their mind, or do I have a problem?

Patricia,
Don't know if it will help but the only read only I know off can be found in
the Open file dialog, click on the tools menu in the top right corner of the
dialog and choose Properties, there is a read only checkbox there.
