Hello NG,

Is it possible to cancel / jump over user defined animations in PowerPoint
with a hot key combination?

If you have a lot of things coming in an out on the screen and you have to
go one slide back or forward, I find it irritating that you have to go
through the user defined animations step by step. A hot key to present all
the user defined animations at one time will be great.

Do you know a solution?

I'm using Office 2003, XP Pro

Best regards,

Bjarne

Bjarne,

Pressing the PageDown (pgdn) key during a slide will make it reach the 'end
point' of all the animations.

This is a great tip to know.  I can think of a couple occasions where a
presenter recycled slides and didn't know about animation and was caught off
guard when it popped up.  This would solve that problem if it happened again.

Hello Cheers,

It doesn't work. I am using a Danish version of PowerPoint, but I have also
just tried with an UK version without luck. I think the PageDown key have
the same function as a click on the mouse, arrow down, arrow right and so
on. All these keys are just giving me the next animation.

Sorry - my mistake. I didn't realize you had 'mouse clicks' on the slide
aswel.

I checked it before posting on some heavy animated slide.... but (doh!) each
slide only had animations and no 'wait for a mouse click between anims'

Just experimented with it--it only goes to the next On Click and stops.  It
doesn't cycle through to the end of the slide if there's any other animations.

It only jumps to the end if the animations are timed.

Using action buttons  (or the slide number + enter) to move back and
forththrough slides will only usually show the animations only once
